Amani Beads

Amani picture frame and earrings Made from the clay of Mt. Kenya, these beads have been shaped, painted and fired by the women of Kazuri Beads, a fair trade company in Kenya. These less-than-perfect beads have been donated by Kazuri and have been brought to the U.S. and crafted into a line of jewelry and picture frames by volunteer Amani artists. All of the profits go back to Kenya to care for orphaned babies at New Life Home Trust. As you adorn your home or wear your Amani beads, be warmed by the knowledge that some accessories are necessary. You’ve joined hands with women across the world to care for children even more beautiful than the beads.
